At Poppy's, we want to open up a conversation about great death care — what it is and why it matters.
Knowing that the people close to us are treated with care and respect after they've died can make a huge difference to family and friends. It’s something that affects us all, yet often care for the dead is shrouded in secrecy and silence.
We're proud of the care we give at Poppy’s and we’re pushing for excellent care to become normal across the sector.
We hope you’ll join us at our open afternoon to see for yourself. Visit our beautiful light-filled mortuary, meet our team, learn more about how we care for the dead, and ask any questions.

Are you a London-based end of life doula?
We invite you to join Poppy’s Funerals and other end of life doulas for 'End of life - compassionate care at every stage', an evening of informed discussion about quality death care. We will draw on each other’s invaluable experience to explore the connections between the work of London based end-of-life doulas and funeral directors.
We all do what we do because we believe that people deserve kind, compassionate care at the end of life. At Poppy’s, we also believe in more open conversations about death and dying and would love to learn with you.

Poppy's founder, Poppy Mardell, will be a guest speaker at this annual gathering for EoLD members in May. Poppy will explore how doulas and funeral directors can work together for the best outcomes for grieving people and the dead. What hurdles can get in the way? What can be done to navigate them? Poppy will share her insights and stories, and will invite yours too. So come along for an enriching conversation. Book your ticket here:
